Just animating a solution of a problem is counted as "solved". Also, correct attempts can be seen by other members. Aren't these bugs curable?

These have been in my wish list for a long time.
Adum, are you hearing this??
I have proposed that Animation (as well as problem attempts) are not available to any solver, until he/she attempts at least once to solve, getting it right or wrong. Any later attempts by that solver are not counted. If this cannot be done on quest accounts, then quest solutions should simply be ignored from difficulty calculation.

Maybe attempts should be available only to the person who posted the problem.

My suggestion is that "Animating" should be counted as neither "solved" or "failure". It may be an option for those who do not have the time to solve the problem but who just want to see the solution. But once they "animate", they will lose the right of solving the problem.

Adum, perhaps this is a better suggestion:

Both Animating and Navigating the solution as well as looking the problem attempts work exactly as now, but in addition they count as a "wrong" solution. If this is the first time a solver tries to solve the problem it's rating will go up. However, if the solver has already solved it (right or wrong) there will be no effect to rating.

Also remember the 'watermark' on double-stepped pawn. It can well be there if the actual move is done on board, but NOT in the initial diagram.

I suggest Give-Up button.
At the first attempt "Animating/Navigating the solution" hide and only a Give-Up button provide for users. when it pressed the first attempt count as wrong answer and then "Animating/Navigating the solution" become available to users.

And also "Animating/Navigating the solution" dont count at all.

these results will be exist for the first attempt:

+ solve the problem.
+ solve the problem after some tries with using the Restart/Back button.

- wrong answer.
- Give up.

? off path. (Its complicated. maybe there are some other solutions and the problem provider simply didnt see them.)

and excuse me for my terrible English.

Dear R3Z4,
Thanks for your contribution.
Unfortunately it seems that the development of the apple has stopped some years ago. So there is unlikely to be any corrections.

Adum, if you are still there, let us know....
