Dear Adum:
In the front page the recent problem box is the place where problems get the MOST ATTENTION in this site. When a problem is no any more on that list the attention it gets from that moment onward is MINIMAL. For this reason certain users who like to submit heap of problems with a fast and ceaseless rate are a big annoyance to other users and their problems. Every user should have the a equal possibility to represent their problems for reasonable time without getting them wiped out even in matter of hours in the worst case. To make the system more fair I suggest that when a person submits a new problem it would erase his/her previously submitted problem in the recent problem box. Those user who want to go on flooding this site with problems could go on like they have done so far but they wouldn't be a nuisance to others any more.
Adum I think the recent box as it is now is unfair and something should be done to it. The sooner the better.
I already thank you in advance for you attention.

Something like "Click to view all problems."

I think "10 latest from different submiters" could maintain 15 minutes of fame a bit longer .
But what I really would like to see is "10 latest comments to problems".
Currently it is quite a tedium to hunt new comments entered for earlier problems. If someone makes an astute comment to a puzzle #600-#800, who (possibly aside from puzzle setter) will know _________________ There are only three kinds of chessplayers - those who can count and those who cannot.... |

Yep, "the latest 10 comments" is absolutely necessary. |

I think users should have to submit application with their USCF ratings above a certain level before they should even be allowed to post a problem on this great website.
And if there rating is below a certain amount, they should have someone look over it for them to make sure everything checks out, and that every problem is accurate and worth solving. _________________ Life is a comedy to those who think, and a tragedy to those who feel. |

I dissagree. Though my rating in USCF is 1270, my rating on BabasChess is near 1800.

Not all chess solvers and composers play otb or cc chess.
Instead of a minimum rating to be able to post, I suggest instead to (temporarily) withdraw posting ability to authors who have previously posted iincorrect problems and have failed, or not attempted, to correct them.
Correctness of a problem entails correctness of stipulation and solution. |

I am against any rating system. Anyway papadobles idea about penalty could be worth of considering. |
