This may not exactly be a bug, but the problem is given as a mating problem and there are non-simple solutions leading to mate for which the java app gives an "OFF TRACK" answer, namely 1. Re7 Rd7 2. Rxf7 Rxf7 3. Qd6 Rd7. While moves do win for white, I've found mating solutions that extend upto 14 moves and the permutations in between allow for far more solutions than the problem indicates, (or the problem writer allowed for...)

The problem writer did not present the problem as a mating problem. When I was checking solutions, I mistakenly thought it was a mate in 8 which it isn't. The problem with complex problems is that the problem writer can miss other alternate solutions. If the problem writer hasn't addressed a variation you will get an offtrack. The best I can do is check problem attempts and try to add variations that people try and address those variations mentioned in comments.
